We have received the letter in both Seremban and Alor Setar. Alan and I will have to report to the Pej Kesihatan Negeri on the 16th before going to KP. You guys who got Seremban, if you are not driving down early that morning, feel free to stay overnight at my house the night before, and then we can go together.
For those who are driving down by themselves, here are the directions to go to the Pej Kesihatan.
Comprehensive version:
1. Exit the first Seremban toll (costs RM6.70 from KL), turn left immediately and you will come to a traffic light.
2. Go straight along the road. You will pass two more traffic lights as the road goes uphill. Then follow the road straight downhill until you pass the Seremban bus terminal on your left.
3. At the traffic light, turn left.
4. You will reach another traffic light very soon (EON Bank is on your right). Turn left.
5. (Now The Store is on the right). Keep right as you need to take the first right turn (no traffic light).
6. You are now in a small road (looks like back lane of The Store) called Jalan Lee Sam. The Methodist Church and ACS Seremban (my school) is on your left.
7. The Pej is at the second left turning.
"For dummies" version:
1. Exit toll and turn left.
2. Go straight uphill and downhill, pass 3 traffic lights.
3. Turn left at the fourth traffic light,
4. Turn left again at the next traffic light.
5. Immediately turn right at the first turning.
6. The Pej is at the second left turning.
If lost at any time ask for the "old" The Store (there are two The Store in Seremban) or ACS school.

Hi guys! I've just received my letter. I got Alor Star, my third choice. Hmm... seems the ministry is bent on not sending us to the hospitals in our own state, except for a few fortunate ones. Cheah got Taiping and Peter got Ipoh. Thought I stood a chance with Seberang Jaya Hospital, seeing that it's not so popular, but even that is not to be.
Ngou: Glad to hear you got Alor Star too. Who else, huh?
Esther: Have you found out who else got Penang?
Adeline: Where did you get? I assume you got Ipoh. Heard there's a whole bunch going to Ipoh.
Anas: All the best to you.
Question: Do we get our houseman quarters only after we report for duty or can we go earlier?
Another question: It says in the letter that we are supposed to report to the Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri. Does that mean we have to go to the Pejabat Kesihatan Negeri and not the hospital?

Chong Tien or other administrators, I just got Fabian's new e-mail address: chongfabian@hotmail.com. Someone pls send him an invite to join this blog.
Adeline: Fabian got Seremban. He wants to appeal to M'ca. Lee Ling is already working in M'ca. He said George got M'ca too.
Wah, Seremban sapu so many houseman this year. As far as I know, every year, Seremban take only 1-3 UM Chinese grad, this year so many. But they did not want this local Serembanite (yours truly). Wonder where Yap got.

This guy is out golfing with his buddy one day and he says, "Man I haven't gotten laid in what seems like forever. I don't know what it is I'm just not getting any." So his buddy says, "Hey man I'll lend you my Asian cleaning lady. She'll come in give you a beer, clean your house, fuck the hell out of you, and best of all she can't speak a word of English." So the guys like really man you mean it? And his buddy says,
"Yeah sure I'll send her over tomorrow."
So the next day this guy is at home and this cleaning lady shows up.
She hands him a beer, goes about cleaning his house, and when she's done stands over him and undresses. So they start going at it and she starts screaming "SAMPOWHY, SAMPOWHY!!!" And of course he starts thinking he's like super stud to get the lady to scream like that.
The next day he's feeling all good about himself and he's out golfing with his buddy again. On his first shot he hits a hole in one and just to rub it in he yells, "SAMPOWHY!" And his buddy looks at him and says what do you mean wrong hole?

It was a hot day and a Hollywood star told a visiting Asian actor he knew of a secluded place where they can go skinny dipping.
While they were enjoying the cool water, a busload of women suddenly appeared. Both men made a beeline for their towels. The Hollywood star wrapped his towel around his waist, while the Asian actor wrapped his towel around his head. There was a great deal of laughter coming from the women. They were hysterical.
Afterwards, when there was only the two of them, the Hollywood star asked his guest why he wrap his towel around his head, instead of around his waist and he replied, “Where I come from we identify with our faces?

Sony, the global electronics giant, has some good news for couch potatoes. It has developed a new 'remote control for your remote control', that enables the truly lazy to surf channels while moving even less muscles than before.
"Our new device totally eliminates the need to stretch your arm that little bit more from your couch, to get the remote directly in front of the TV. Now the only muscle you need to move is your finger.", said a company spokesman. He also added that this was just one more step in Sony's global initiative to keep inventing technologies that turn people into furniture, and their brains into Jell-O.
"We wanted to refine the product even more by making it thought-controlled, thereby completely removing the need for any sort of muscle movement at all, but this wouldn't work because most TV addicts are completely incapable of any kind of thought at all", lamented a little Japanese scientist.

Asian guy is having his "SNACK" ( bread and jam) when an American man chuckling chewing gum, sits down next to him. The Asian ignores the American who, nevertheless, starts a conversation.
American: "You Asian folks eat the whole bread??"
Asian (in a bad mood): "Of course."
American: (after blowing a huge bubble) "We don't. In the States, we only eat what's inside. The crusts we collect in a container, recycle it, transform them
into croissants and export them to Asia."
The American has a smirk on his face. The Asia listens in silence.
The American persists: "D'ya eat jelly with the bread??"
Asian : "Of Course."
American: (cracking his gum between his teeth and chuckling). "We don't. In the States we eat fresh fruit for breakfast, then we put all the peels, seeds, and leftovers in containers, recycle them, transform them into jam and export them to Asia ."
The Asian ( pissed of) then asks: "Do you have sex in America?"
American: "Why of course we do", the American says with a big smirk.
Asian : And what do you do with the condoms once you've used them?"
American: "We throw them away, of course."
Asian : "We don't. In Asia, we put them in a container, recycle them, melt them down into chewing gum and export them to America.

Four delegates from China, Russia, the United States and Malaysia attended the United Nations' Meeting. All the nations were discussing about space exploration by the year 2000. Here are some of the conversations:
China Delegate: 'By the year 2000, China will start their moon exploration project. '
Russian Delegate: ' We too, we are going to explore the moon. This time we will see to it that our cosmonauts will step on the moon.'
Bill Clinton: ' We the United States will also explore the moon for second time.'
Malaysian Delegate: 'By the year 2000, Malaysia will explore the sun.'
There was a long silence, Bill Clinton stood up and asked the Malaysia Delegate: ' Isn't it too hot to explore the sun?'
Malaysian Delegate (smiling): 'I had this thought out already. We will do it in the evening.'

Teacher says to class: "I shall now read you some quotes. Whoever can tell me who said them, and when, they can go home early".
Teacher: "Who said "We will fight them on the beaches"?"
Lim Sung Wu: "Winston Churchill, 1942".
Teacher: "Very good, you can go home right now, if you wish".
Lim Sung Wu: "I will stay teacher, I'm going to be a doctor, and I need to learn all I can".
Teacher: "Who said "I shall return"?"
Sing Lam Po: "Douglas McArthur, 1944".
Teacher: "Very good, you can go home right now, if you wish".

Johnny, at the back of the room, mutters: "Bloody Asians".
Teacher: "Who said that?"
Johnny: "Pauline Hanson, 1996", and he runs out of the room, "I'm going home now, see you tomorrow, teacher".

There was a Japanese, Hawaiian, and a Portuguese guy. They were all stranded on a desert. While they were walking, the Portuguese guy found a car door. He decided to drag it around for shade when they needed it.
So one day the Hawaiian guy complained, "It's hot!"
The Portuguese guy grabbed the car door and rolled down the window." Is that better?"

Two peasants got into an argument over which is more important to the world: the sun or the moon. They put the problem to their village council. The elders deliberated over the question for many hours before they pronounced in favor of the moon in sound logic:
"If there was no moon we would not be able to see anything at night. The sun shines only during the day when we need no light."

Three monks decided to practice meditation together. They sat by the side of a lake and closed their eyes in concentration. Then suddenly, the first one stood up and said, "I forgot my mat." He steeped miraculously onto the water in front of him and walked across the lake to their hut on the other side.
When he returned, the second monk stood up and said, "I forgot to put my the other underwear to dry." He too walked calmly across the water and returned the same way. The third monk watched the first two carefully in what he decided must be the test of his own abilities. "Is your learning so superior to mine? I too can match any feat you two can perform," he declared loudly and rushed to the water's edge to walk across it. He promptly fell into the deep water.
Undeterred, the yogi climbed out of the water and tried again, only to sink into the water. Yet again he climbed out and yet again he tried, each time sinking into the water. This went on for some time as the other two monks watched.
After a while, the second monk turned to the first and said, "Do you think we should tell him where the stones are?"

Seated next to a blowhard at a United Nations dinner was an Oriental man dressed in the robes of one of the Far Eastern countries. The blowhard, attempting to make conversation, leaned over and said, "You like soupee?"
The Oriental fellow nodded his head. "You like steakee?"
The Oriental nodded again. As it turned out, the guest speaker at the dinner was our Oriental friend who got up and delivered a beautiful 50-minute address on the United Nations' definition of "encouragement to self-reliance" by underdeveloped countries of the world. The speech was flawless in Oxford English.
He returned to his place at the head of the table, sat down, and turned to his dinner partner and said, "You like speechee?"

Cow sends Japanese man to jail
(UP) - Earlier this year, the dazed crew of a Japanese Trawler was plucked out of the Sea of Japan clinging to the wreckage of their sunken ship.
Their rescue, however, was followed by immediate imprisonment once authorities questioned the sailors on their ship's loss. To a man they claimed that a cow, falling out of a clear blue sky, had struck the trawler amidships, shattering it's hull and sinking the vessel within minutes.
They remained in prison for several weeks, until the Russian Air Force reluctantly informed Japanese authorities that the crew of one of its cargo planes had apparently stolen a cow wandering at the edge of a Siberian airfield, forced the cow into the plane's hold and hastily taken off for home.
Unprepared for live cargo, the Russian crew was ill-equipped to manage a now rampaging cow within its hold. To save the aircraft and themselves, they shoved the animal out of the cargo hold as they crossed the Sea of Japan at an altitude of 30,000 feet.

Have yet to receive official letter in Seremban or Alor Setar. Tentatively, we got K.Pilah (3rd choice) and A.Setar (1st choice).
What? Haz is starting on 7th? That's tomorrow. Can't stomach that yet. I am still in the state of denial. She's a great girl. I hope she will make it big in the future and make some positive changes around here.
Where is Fabian?
I have just begun to read the novella that alan, carren, JA and Khai Beng wrote. Promising prospect! Want to try approaching publishing house for contract? Who knows you may turn out to be bestselling authors.
Carren: Did the letter specify the deadline for reporting? Any other paperwork need to be done?

Wah ... looks like a whole bunch of you guys are coming to Seremban. Welcome, welcome.
Hey, Sathiya, where are you posted? And yeah, I've always despised fanatics.
P/S If any of you were to mail any important document to another country, NEVER use Pos Malaysia's registered post (PosDaftar). They can only track the item to KLIA. Beyond that, if hilang or anything, they cant do nuts about it. So PosDaftar = normal unregistered post. Use PosLaju instead, or any other international courier.

I expected the blog to be rife with news, expressions of joy or disappointment; but it does not seem to be so. I guess everyone is waiting for the official letter first hah?
GCT: i've uninstalled CM4, frustrated with the losing streak despite my patience and efforts, and Arsenal is crazy with its unbeaten run. Try out these not-too-expensive fantastic non-youngster hot prospects: Mancini, Deco(4.5M), and Joe Cole(10M) - they are almost always 8 in form and are frequent MoM. The U-19 GK Lee Steel has great form too. Ok, that's the last with CM4.
Carren/JA: Thanks for checking out our postings. We are both satisfied with the allocation. For me, Sban and KP have their pros and cons. Sban is more hectic but i can stay at home. KP is less hectic so I can do more of my own things but is 1hr away.

GCT: Yeah, I'm glad that I'll be working and staying with someone familiar. Hey, dont you feel that in CM games, the outcome of the match is already decided before you even start. (reminiscent of Matrix here). The tactics just change the goal margin, or makes it a draw. I have tried every possible tactic against Arsenal but I always concede towards the end. And this Arsenal is dam good, always good run of results, I cant afford to lose a single game. I have gone thru some of the MAtrix forum you suggested, but i still feel Carren's idea about a matrix within a matrix is the best.
Tentatively I am posted to Kuala Pilah. It's 45 min to 1 hr's drive fr Sban town. Should be less hectic than Sban GH. Heard that O&G oncall is only 6 times a month for housemen .... Was told that there are already 4 Chinese UKM fresh housemen there.
Hah, this is it, the bittersweet pinch that arouses us from this lovely dream for the past 2 months. For now, I guess I'll just wait for the letter, maybe I will report for duty on 9 or 16 June (aiya, hard to jump start this sedentary lifstyle).
Wonder who else gets Sban or KP. If you get Sban, call me and I'll be glad to show you around Sban town. Wenjih: where is Yap posted?

anyway, yup, mycroft is sherlock's bro.... how evil is he? well, look at me n u would hav an idea.
well, 2 more weeks to go b4 officialy end of good times, beginning of hell.... so i've decided to spend the remaining with Heroes4.. gues chee foo has to agree with me tht it is time well spent.
well, vcd is still rampant in penang, at least. mc brought me to midland.... top floor piracy heaven.. n thank goodness of invention of burner.. we bought the pirated software, n pirate it again in mc house, so we share the bargain.

OMG, posting letters out!!!???? Really....!!!!???
Just came back fr holiday in Thailand and trembling wif news of posting letters out.....really hopes that it wont for few more days...
Alan: 'The Beach' is not filmed in Koh Sah Mui. The island is only shown in the old map, but the actual island location is Koh Phi Phi (Phi Phi Island) and various locations in Krabi (one of the provinces in Thailand). Planned to go to Phi Phi Islang initially but changed mind at the last minute to trip around Krabi instead (cause just came back fr Lang Tengah mah..)
Krabi is a really nice place wif a lot of interesting places to visit...e.g. hot water stream (natural jacuzzi river,ahh...), seashell cemetery (claimed one of the only three in the world,mmm??!!...), cave boating, crystal 'BLUE' river and pond, elephant riding,........
Well, again, hope that the posting letters wont be out soon....sob sob...

Congrats to Milan!!! though it was a 0-0 draw... the game was never a bore. Rosh... i thought u supported Juve, must be heartbroken huh? and u tot w/ Buffon penalty shootouts will b a snag? Dida has had a history of saving penalties as well, the commentators totally forgot that.
Yong: it is slow. on my laptop the same lag time u experience is there, but it is bearable. coz of all the stats. If u can't get the top defenders try Phillipe Mexes. In real life he is very highly rated and touted to be a target of Ferguson, dunno about the game. Daniel Nardiello has come good in my game after i experience the worst injury crisis i have ever seen.
Wow... Tony... Tuak Orgy? so i guess Bintulu isn't that boring after all.

GCT: I started a game by 'quickstart' using Man U. Donno why everytime when the game generates results (e.g. from 1st 2nd div, Champ league etc) it is slow. Even in the main squad menu, it takes time to go to the tactic window, and back. The worst of all is during matches on 'key' view, it takes time to load the 2D simulation. I have reinstalled it, defragment and surface scanned my hard disc to no avail. Maybe it's just a sign that my computer is beginning to age. I m in Nov of my first season. V Nistelrooy and Becks are darned good. O'Shea is great in this game, but Chadwick is not anymore. Laurent Blanc keeps getting injured ... need to buy a star defender soon, eyeing Nesta and Cannavaro. Will check out the youngsters you suggested.
No problem with loading blog anymore, maybe it was just server's problem yesterday.
Tony: wonder what you do at home ... do you have pets at home?
Where is Fabian?

Which team u playing. My objective in this game is to develop young players so i control the reserves and U19 as well. Look for Isaac Osbourne, Anthony Gerard, Jay McEveley and Collins John. Very promising young players.
I personally have not have much problems opening the blog page here. Tell me if any of u have any problems. I will reduce the pics further... of course that means Alan's power will wane and wane and wane...
Tony: I know u're bored... go watch Matrix la, should be an enjoyable 2 hours... Oh wait... there's no cinema at ur place is there?? ooops sorry... hehehe
Kalis: seems really got ppl apply KK and don't get.... see where we end up. All the best.

Does everyone have trouble opening our blog page? I could not load it the today. Only could load this post & publish page.
I cant take credit for the VCD article. I merely utilized the same skills as Chiew Leng, i.e. ctrl-c and ctrl-v, from a forwarded e-mail. I found it funny and actually reflects the cetak rompak culture, so I thought I'd share it with everyone. The operasi must be very intense now. I cannot find any ciplak VCD in Seremban, Serdang, Petaling St or Alor Setar! But I m sure they will all be back.
You know guys, I have a sense of dread this week because of the impending arrival of posting letter. It's a mixed feeling, like I am both looking forward to and dreading at the same time the arrival of the letter. Hard to describe the inner tumults. Is it just me or do you guys identify to this as well.
Where is Fabian?
Chun Wearn: How come no posts in the blog?
Tony: Is there Astro coverage at your place? Just curious.
Mu: LWJ once told me that Mycroft is the name of the brother of Sherlock Holmes.
LWJ: Is the tummy upset better? What did Ming Chern feed you?!
GCT: Have you tried CM4? U still in KL? It's slooow on my Pentium 3, 733Mhz, 128Mb RAM computer. Did I get the settings/config wrong?

Matrix news : LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters)
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has frozen co-director Larry Wachowski's business assets in a bitter divorce fight between the reclusive filmmaker and his estranged wife, Thea Bloom, who claimed he was concealing funds from her, according to newly disclosed court documents. In a declaration accompanying her request for the restraining order, Bloom said she and Wachowski mutually agreed to separate last July, after nearly nine years of marriage. Bloom said she learned that "Larry has received large payments (for the "Matrix" films) that I never saw deposited in our joint accounts."

CL : The poem must be wriiten by some gal who has underlying breast pathology which has been missed on prior examinations requiring repeat mammography + male hatred as evidenced by the last paragraph :) I guess if there's a less squeezy method of mammography, she should research it,cos she sure doesnt like her breast being squished ! Poor thing..She aptly equates male testicles = female breast, gosh..she must me misinformed! Ovaries = testicles dear writer ! The breasts have other functions dear writer...

Ode To a Mammogram
For years and years they told me,
Be careful of your breasts,
Don't ever squeeze or bruise them,
And give them monthly tests.
So I heeded all their warnings,
And protected them by law.
Guarded them very carefully,
And I always wore my bra.
After 30 years of astute care,
My Doctor found a lump.
She ordered up a mammogram,
To look inside that bump.
"Stand up very close," she said,
As she got my boob in line.
"And, tell me when it hurts," she said.
"Ah yes! There, that's fine."
She stepped upon a peddle.
I could not believe my eyes!
A plastic plate pressed down and down,
My boob was in a vice!
My skin was stretched and stretched,
From way up under my chin.
My poor boob was being squashed,
To Swedish pancake thin.
Excruciating pain I felt,
Within it's vice-like grip.
A prisoner in this vicious thing,
My poor defenseless tits!
"Take a deep breath," she said to me,
Who does she think she's kidding?
My chest is mashed in her machine,
And woozy I am getting.
"There, that was good," I heard her say
As the room was slowly swaying.
"Now let's have a go at the other one."
"Lord have mercy," I was praying.
It squeezed me from up and down,
It squeezed me from both sides,
I'll bet she's never had this done,
Not to her tender little hide!
If I had no problem when I came in,
I surely have one now.
If there had been a cyst in there,
It would have popped, Ker-pow!
This machine was designed by man,
Of this I have no doubt,
I'd like to stick his balls in there.
And see how they come out!
For years and years they told me,
Be careful of your breasts,
Don't ever squeeze or bruise them,

Tony: i still think you are cuter than the cake, no matter what alan says!
Others: the matrix within the matrix did not come from me, but a friend of mine. no credit shud go to me. also, the sushi thing, don take it seriously, i tried my dogs but they just weren't hungry, i guess.
Latest: white water rafting cancelled as water levels have gone below the necessary level thus needing passengers to carry the rafts. not worth RM175.
Warning: the cartoons recommended by alan have been screened by responsible parties and have been found to be mind numbing and not worth waking early. watch at own risk.
Roshan: you are very quiet. is it becos i couldn't find more photos?

Well as to complaints that the blog is difficult to access... the pictures are to blame since they are linked from multiple other sites. I have cut down the pics on the sidebars so it should load faster now. However, this does mean that Alan's power is seriously diminished.
Posting personal photos on the blog is a problem as you have to do 2 things. First find a place on the net to host your photo, then link the photo here. I have not found any photo hosting sites that allows you to link the photo here. What you could do is to put your photo in Yahoo! Photos or something equivalent, set it to be viewed by everyone, and post the web address here.
A matrix within a matrix... a control within a control... interesting concept Carren, may very well be what it is after all. That sounds like the thinking process of a machine to me...
And Carren is looking for volunteers to try out a Japanese delicacy that she is preparing. Interested please post...
Tony... mail snatches by monkeys... what an interesting place you live in.

Heard that the letters are all ready n will be posted soon. Letters will probably arrive next wk as expected. That means our date for reporting is, what, June 9th? Sigh :(
Have difficulty loggin on to our Blog. I think the pictures are the culprit. And exceedingly difficult to post pictures on the Blog. Major drawback of the Blog, wish E-circle and Community Zero were still here.
Vui Eng's new address is vuieng77@yahoo.com. And yes, that IS her new no.

There were 3 men having soup together in a restaurant. One was white, the others were Asian and Jewish. They all found out that there was a fly in each of their soups.
The white guy was horrified and called the waiter to replace the soup.
The Asian guy saw what the white guy did, and said "such a waste of food." He then spooned out the fly and threw it away.
The Jewish guy saw what both men did, and said "Such a waste of food." He then picked the fly up with his fingers, squeezed the soup out of it and sucked it, then threw it away.

There is this good ol' barber in some city in the US. One day a florist goes to him for a haircut. After the cut, he goes to pay the barber and the barber replies: "I am sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I am doing a community service." The florist is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen roses waiting at his door.
A cop goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber and the barber replies: "I am sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I am doing a community service." The cop is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, there is a thank you card and a dozen donuts waiting at his door.
An Asian software engineer goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber and barber replies; "I am sorry, I cannot accept money from you; I am doing a community service." The next morning when the barber goes to open his shop, guess what he finds there - a dozen Asians waiting for a free haircut...

Once upon a time three people were stranded out at sea - A Japanese, a Malaysian and an Indonesian. The boat started leaking and if they do not act fast they would all die.
The Japanese (as usual) was the first to take the initiative. He threw all his Japanese gizmo - CD player, hi-fi, radio etc. off the boat. The Malaysian and the Indonesian looked at him in disbelief.
The Japanese said, "Don't worry.. still got a lot more in my country.. BANZAIIIEE!"
But the boat was still sinking. The Indonesian without hesitation started throwing aboard all his baju batik, kain batik, keretek, etc., etc. He comforted the other two, "Don't worry.. still have a lot more in my country, paknya".
But still the boat was sinking. The Japanese and the Indonesian looked at the Malaysian. Suddenly, without any hesitation and with stride, the Malaysian threw the Indonesian overboard. The poor guy couldn't swim and drowned. The Japanese was shocked. Said the Malaysian, "Don't worry... still got a lot more in MY country!!!".

matrix: somehow the show is sooooo confusing. n the action sequence? too long. n if u really look carefully, it's not choreographed good in some part. some of the extras actually waited for their turn to be beat up by neo. well, dun take me the wrong way. i enjoyed the show. ( the sole reason being ALL my frens who went b4 me told me it is a bad show, which actually decrease my expectation sooo much)....
seok hong: welcome! do u hav Vui Eng's email or contact, coz wanted to get from her the photos from cameron.

Hi everyone! My computer was out for almost a month so I don't think I wanna try to understand the power struggle that has been going on in the blog. Trying hard not to read too much of what you guys write about the matrix because haven't watched it yet. So, Tony, you are not alone. Yan Wei's back from Australia so hope she shares with us her adventures there with Ling Yin and Fan Yin. Spent most of my time 3 days last week cleaning up the house because my house got flooded! There was no rain (in fat, it's been swelteringly hot in Butterworth) but there was a high tide, due to the lunar eclipse or something. Well, the time is approaching nearer to find out our postings. Till then!
some say, that the real earth which neo and gang have escaped to actually has a matrix in it too. Matrix within a matrix. That would explain why agent smith can enter to neo's real world and why neo could stop the octopus thingy. but i guess we have to watch the last episode or wait for alan to come out with truth.

Yong sez:
Sathiya: Hint taken and understood :)
Alan: Yeah, I agree. There are many interesting quotes from the movie. And I had to listen hard to avoid missing important links. My favourite was:
"Merovingian: French is the best language to swear in. [stream of curses, I suppose, which sounded so distinguished and dignified]
Merovingian: It's like wiping your ass with silk."
Dont worry about this morning, I was a bit slow myself too. Where did y'all go after the movie.
GCT: I wonder how the story will end. It was an anticlimax at the end when the screen went black and stated 'to be concluded'. The mind-blowing part in Matrix 1 is the story, in Matrix 2 is the visual and sound effects. Yeah, some parts were cheesy, like where the matrixed Neo puts his hand into Trinity's heart and resurrects her. I found the many infinitely cloned Agent Smith funny especially when they all poured in like ants to be kicked away by Neo. Hmmmm, wonder how they are gonna explain how Agent Smith, a computer-programme 'unreal' entity, can go to the real world (Zion) to sabo their plans.
Carren: For moment there, it was reminiscent of the Matrix when I received a call on a cellphone, telling me where to look. Fancy we were in the same theatre but never saw each other but instead met across one level. You are an observant girl.
(Ok, ok, looks like I have been talking about nothing but the Matrix)
Kalisvar: Hey dude, how are you lah? I don't mean to be obnoxious here, but there were a few times when you typed 'thought' when you meant 'taught'. Ok, now you can start bombarding me back, hehee. BTW who is which mythical creature?
Tony: did the hoax email used our names as the sender?

Cause and effect
(Here are some of my personal philosophical ponderings, it may be boring, so you may just want to skip this post. I put this post in smaller fonts so that it wont hog the page with long ramblings). Cause and effect. Scientifically, this is epitomised by concepts ranging from the elemental Hukum Keabadian Tenaga to the Chaos Theory. Theologically, it is present in the topic of karma - a concept present in, as far as I know, Hinduism and Buddhism. Everything happens for a reason. I personally do not delve (and do not really believe) into the 'mystical' implications of this (e.g. this are fated, the choice for future events are already made, if you do evil this life you will be reborn as a frog, if you do bad you will get an equal and opposite reaction etc). What is practical for me to know is to cherish people and happenings around us and not taking them for granted. For example, in order for all of us to be friends and to have gone through thick and thin together, so many variables must be perfect (we must all score good results in STPM, to have taken STPM in 1997, not gone to college or abroad, want to do medicine, did not take up other study offers/scholarships, to be allocated to UM by UPU etc). Whether this is chance (it just happen to be this way) or fated or determined by karma or arranged by the Creator, I really don't put too much weigh into it, just cherish things as they are.
There are many articles (many of them written by university lecturers in theologism) on the net that discusses the parallel between Matrix and Buddhism and Christianity. Click here for one example from University of Nebraska if you are interested. I donno whether the Wachowski brothers are that creative or whether they are so clever to ciplak from diverse religion/philosophy.
