Hullo hullo! Back from Endau-Rompin, a smaller version of Taman Negara, but less visited and more unspoilt. Entrance to the main park site is through 53km of bumpy, uncomfortable gravel estate road. The main campsite is rustic, but chalets and cabins are available as well as proper toilets. Many different packages are available to cater for the different needs of every one. Accommodation ranges from chalets to camping. So even people like JA should find it relatively comfortable.

Only a portion of the park is opened to public. We went jungle trekking, got eaten by leeches, visited 2 waterfalls and jumped off an overhanging tree into the deep river. Cool experience all in all. Lovely place, recommended for a getaway from city life. For more info check out www.johorpark.com
