hi people,it's me adeline
how r things? i guess most of u r busy as not much messages in the blog lately. i,m in the middle of my anaest daily tagging. pretty hectic esp on ortho elective days when they hammer n saw even up to midnight. been intubating almost every unfortunate person who has op done in manjung hosp lately. keeping my fingers cross, thank goodness no one lost any teeth yet. left upper limb should be getting more muscular now.
yesterday,i had the golden opportunity to do a spinal (in lateral position) for a guy estimated to be 120kg, with ischiorectal abscess. needless to say, couldnt get into the right space but managed to poke a few holes in the fat i guess. specialist failed too n we had to give GA. it was tough trying to control a big guy like that when he was regaining consiousness.
anyone keen on joining anaesth in manjung? we're going to be really short real soon. 3 senior mo's with up to 10yrs experience will be leaving in 1-2 months time, leaving 3 junior ones with less than 10 months experience. i think my boss in going to cry. boss is nice though.
has anyone done their income tax yet? i'm waiting for my penyata gaji to be sent from teluk intan hosp. dont like this sistem taksiran sendiri. it just lets those tax guys lepak more. shall go to their office n act dumb n ask them to fill it up. hah hah.......

Came back to my regular burger Ramli man after a 1 month hiatus and noted a slender thing with breasts leaning on his broad shoulders feeding him a salad.

She helped to make my burger but didn't know where to apply the mayo.

He had cut off his 5 year old ponytail and was sporting a neat new crew cut.

Wishing lots of happiness to him and his monkey.

When the day is long
And the night
The night is yours alone
When you're sure you've had enough
Of this life
Well hang on.

Don't let yourself go
Cos everybody cries
And everybody hurts
Sometimes.

Sometimes everything is wrong
Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone
Hold on, hold on
If you feel like letting go
When you think you've had too much
Of this life
Well hang on.

Cos everybody hurts
Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts.

Don't throw your hand
Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone
No, no
You are not alone.

If you're on your own
In this life,
The days and nights are long
When you think you've had too much
Of this life
To hang on.

Well everybody hurts
Sometimes
Everybody cries
And everybody hurts
Sometimes
And everybody hurts
Sometimes
So hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts
You are not alone.

someday we shall die
we are passing to shadow of death every single day
perhap we know death better than god because they are immortal.
moment of death and there after will be forever a mith. not more than just imagination.
getting old and waiting for 'the day' is a terrible thing.
we all share the same destiny. maybe different destination?
but why not that we all stand together facing death with courage and dicnity
and god shall admire us.... our mortal life.... once and for all

My grandmother lost her younger brother today. Sat down all day very quiet.

The death of a sibling we grew up with can affect us deeply.

At 85 she is the oldest surviving member among all her brothers and sisters. Perhaps she also feels the crushing weight of her own mortality.

Old age is a terribly thing.
