oh oh and one more thing hesaid will happen, dat after WW3, man will live like how our great great great anchestor used to live (growing and planting our own food)...but if that's the case, y he said man will live under robots rule in 203... or is it b'coz WW3 is between Human and Robots and we human bloody lose to robots........................................thus.................
Hi everybody,
Din know that our blog is becoming so religious nowadays. Thanks to the Cranker to enlighten us to the GMG, the mightiest of the soft, slimy yucky world. Hail the GMG...!!

And speaking bout end of the world, well what i'v to say but to agree (personal opinion only mah) with the mighthy Schemer of The World Destruction (dat's u BTW, Cranker)...just read dat with all the earthquakes and volcanoes in Indonesia partying, the big BIG brother, the SUPERVOLCANO will also awake sooner in the future (heard it'l b in our lifetime).

And hav all heard bout a story in US where a guy claimed to hav come from the future, i.e 2032 (so, the world was still there at that time eh..), said there's a big computer virus outbreak then and he was send via timemachine (what the heck..) back to 198.. to retrace the technology that built the first notebook in order to counter the BIG virus (so, older is wiser is always correct afterall). then he stopped at 2001 on his way back to 2032 coz he wanted to look at his childhood years and parents (apparently, his parents died not much later after 2001)... there, he access the web and spoken to lots of people bout who he is and disclosed a few things, which people claimed he said it and it happened...such as
1. Said US will attack Iraq for no apparent reason
2. George Bush will b president again
3. Prince Charles will get marry this year.
4. Pope John Paul II goes back to God's side this year (no offence to GMG)
....and a few other things, but what he said will happen that's interesting...

1. There'l b Civil War in US this year that'l last a few years (dt dissatisfaction over last election)
2. Olympic in 2004 will b the last successfully staged one (the one in Beijing wont b successfully staged and that will b the end to Olympic games)
3. Beijing and Taiwan will b in civil war in 201... (well, v predicted this one will happen sooner o or later)
4. English Language will ceased to b international language in the future and in place is,...u guess.... correct Chinese Language,.............but more interestingly Arab Language will also b one of the two international languages...
5. US will retire as the world superpower, and ...yes again... China will take over..
6. 3rd world war is looming in the horizon (i think he said it'l b in 201... or 202.. )
7. Things in I,Robot (staring Will Smith) will really happen (man live with computers and robots)... and wat's worse, man will hav to live under robots control too (well, if he's really fr 2032, then we'l probably live to see it, if v r not bombed during the WW3....if that really happen)

....and some other things but i'v forgotten oredi, coz bz looking for rice cakes to appease the GMG...praying that all this things is CRAPS

Well, let's c if this prophecy thing will ever happen,... we'l not hav to wait long to see whether the No.1 will happen or not.....

Thanks for reading...Me Is Stupid Fella, out (as in Ryan Seacrest , Out...BTW, he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for saying the out out thing...hopefully i'l get mine soon too..hehe)

Dear Carren,

The Great Maggot God contacted me via ICQ today and says he will come for you soon.

Good job planting the finger there. Now she will go to jail for grand larceny. You get another 1000 Evilness points! Remember, 2500 points entitles you to a free sandwich maker.

Dear Adeline, dressed up as a Carren,

Good ploy trying to get us to visit you there in Manjung, the deadesEST place north of Kuala Pilah.

I think the GMG is a bit too big to fit in a nostril. And you can always recognize him by his grossly enlarged testes (hypertelorism) and his twenty-four lidless eyes.

Cheers and beers,
Alan
speaking bout maggots, there was a pt in icu here who had 2 of them crawl out of his nose. could that be the great maggot god ur refering to,alan? anyone want to come here with rice cakes to pray for money, sucess n etc?

Very poetic Chong Tien.

I've got one too.

Life in Pilah
Very boring
People lead simple lives
No shopping, movies or clubs
Can die liao

I shudder at the thought of going thru induction myself. YECH
The End of the World is coming!

Signs
1. A series of powerful earthquakes kills hundreds of thousands across Asia. Recent activation of scores of volcanoes threatens continued extermination of the people of Indonesia
2. Woman in Las Vegas finds chopped finger in chilli
3. Joseph Ratzinger elected new Pope
4. Motorist driving in London hit by frozen sausage, sustains nasal bone fracture
5. Backstreet Boys release new single

Let us ask the blessing of the Great Maggot God, and his best friend's auntie, the Muted Goddess of Strawberry, to protect us in the awful times to come.

Offer them a rice cake today.
Induksi in Sabah

frankly, i don't think we are stuck in a rut. more like, our journey in life is at a more relaxed pace. trust me money is not everything. where we are in life is not as important as to how we got there. i would much prefer to stay and work in malaysia than let's say Singapore or japan where almost everyone is beautiful and successful and living on the high-paced life.

call me pure malaysian then.
i love it here
i would never migrate but never say never. anyhow, i love the peculiarities of our malaysian patients as well as the people i work with. compared to 2 years ago, i have learned how to get them to do things for me, my way. in that aspect, i would say my people skills have vastly improved.no point getting frustrated over things which are beyond your control. the last i heard, it was a cause for hypertension.

we are young only once. lead your live the way you want. if there exists hermits in the highlands of KP, so be it. cos if one looks like the man in the pic, i can't blame them - for that face earned a mother's loathing, for a mask was his first piece of clothing.
I know what you mean, Alan.

Like when watching The Apprentice, I don't know whether you feel the same but i feel like, hey we've been good and worked hard, we've excelled like those people, but look at where we are now and what we are stuck with. Things here are like 'tak apa, minum dulu' or 'kerja tak akan habis punye, rilek dulu'. I don't need to elaborate, we all know the culture and people we work with everyday.

It's like, if we are given the opportunity to have a shot at the highest level of the industry, we can prove our potential and our worth.

I have a cousin who failed Physics in STPM, but went to UniSheffield and got a bachelor of engineering and now is working for a multinational company in UK. SeowVoon's classmate who was second place in class back in secondary school, took up JPA scholarship, studied engineering in Imperial College, now earns five digit monthly in Pound Sterling.

I guess maybe every M.O. goes through this phase esp during the 2nd, 3rd year of the service, when everything is so unsure. Hope we will come to the catch-up phase within the next seven years.

Meanwhile, let me know if there is anything I can help in your ploy to destroy the world.

P/s anyone know of passwords to journal sites like bmj, lancet, apart from the 'gracie-bosco' login for NEJM?

don't worry kai inn! we are listening.
as for petrol prices, i think it will only go up as crude oil prices were at an all time high recently. and the pm would totally encourage it as we will profit from the raised oil prices. ao now i can only recommend bicycle or as u say there is quite a distance from melaka and muar, i can suggest kereta lembu which is totally environmentally friendly! and the manure can be used as source for generating more energy.

keep my small town ideas in mind.
to others who have any other probs, feel free to consult me. me got plenty of time to think up of solutions since me not going induction.

Thanks for the support, guys. I'm better now. It's true what you all said. All of us go through depressive periods in our lives. Life isn't treating me that bad. It just seemed so at the time.
Anyway, for you guys going for induksi, be prepared for not enough sleep and tiring physical activities. One of my colleagues told me that you only get to sleep late at night, have to wake up early for "senaman pagi", listen to boring lecturers droning on and on, don't have time to wash your clothes (so the break in between is for you to do your laundry) and don't have time to study for the exam.
Will be waiting to hear stories of induksi after this.

Seow Voon is transferred to OPD Kuala Nerang, a rural hospital 40 minutes' drive away from Hospital Alor Star, despite appeals and 'meetings' with the state pengarah. It worries me that she has to drive daily through single-laned rural roads with lori balak and other heavy vehicles. There, she has to bear with a typical family medicine specialist who emphasises on trivial non-practical stuff like punch card, modest attire, cannot leave before 4.15pm, etika kerja, Allah will acknowledge what you do etc. There is also a Paki contract M.O. who sees patients ten times slower that everyone else and flirts with a gatal anak dara tua nurse. Work is mundane and is not encouraging for self-improvement of medical knowledge/skills.

Meanwhile I am still in the solace of Anesth Dept. Wish I could trade places with her.

Hopefully all these will be just temporary.

Life is full of ups and downs, the day we stop to feel and care is the day we die. Take every setback as a challenge, coming out of it scarred but stronger... emotionally, mentally sometimes physically.

If u need an ear, just vent it out. Sometimes all we need is someone to listen to our grouses. Who knows, some one out here may be able to help.
i'm sorry to hear about your predicament and coming from someone who has always been so cheerful and strong, i must say things must be very bad. but the good thing is when you reach rock bottom, you can only bounce upwards.(except for alan i guess). that is what makes good times feel really good. if it is any consolation, i can say that most of us have been through what u have been through and somehow, we always get over it. all we need is to complaint and whine, and then it all just goes away.and when it does, it only makes us stronger and wiser. all the best and we are all ears if u are in need of a shoulder punch. p/s although we may not have specialised training, keep in mind that we come free!
sounds bad.well, gues tat is part n parcel of life. then again. i charge very low for counseling. after all, medically trained...
well, watever it is, dun worry. gues there is stil a lot of us who is lost for directions....

Friday, April 08, 2005

Hi everyone. Been feeling pretty down lately. Disappointed in a number of things which happened around me. Tired of getting hurt again and again. Lost direction...

Dearest Adeline,

I screwed a guy's ass today.
BMA can be FUN.

Chicos and picos,
