yes, i would love to go langkawai. not been there for 10 yrs already if i'm not mistaken. hmmm, as for your concession, we who left for district posting just left without saying anything. I'm not even provided with accomodations...i feel so stupid now...
I've stayed in Alor Setar for more than 2 years now but I have yet to go to Langkawi. Hmm... must plan a trip there one of these days. Anybody else interested in going? Or maybe I should volunteer to go to Langkawi Hospital first. Apparently, the state pengarah wants to start a system whereby Paediatric MOs go on rotation in Langkawi Hospital. We are demanding a few concessions first: proper housing, TV, laundry service, refrigerator, a DVD player would also help.

the boat that never come home
just close enough to be seen
they've left the old harbour long ago
venture into the mystery of world
though they have stopped sailing around
the world is never tha same again
the old captain has gone
the boat is as old as the island
the boat that never come home
where have they gone?

my trip to alor star was short but thanks alots to mong tien who entertained us well. oh! thanks to seok hong as well still able to meet us for supper despite having call the next day.
due to the bad weather, i was unable to proceed my trip to penang. sorry chee lean for expecting of my coming to penang.
i also passed by Sungai Petani, but kind of rush though, so chee foo and who even in SP, miss you guys.
for those who haven't been to Langkawi island, it is in fact quite fun and easy visiting. cable car and the hanging bridge is very memorable with the stunning view of langkawi.(highly recommended). the rest is so-so. my boat trip back from the island was almost overturned due to strong tidal waves. actually quite exciting! i called it a bonus to my trip cause i was sitting next to the captain of the boat/ferry. learned a bit about navigating a boat with GPS and radar system but most of the time he was busy with the wheel avoiding big waves.

chong tien: still look forward our Nepal trip

bye all
i am going back to hospital sultanah aminah JB. soon

Remember those days when we were in Klang and the haze/smog used to be so bad. Now five years later, the haze is still an annual event. Are we to expect ourselves and our children to have annual dose of haze inhalation every year? Maybe our weather should be described instead as 'rain and shine throughout the year with seasonal haze'.

Talking about rain and shine throughout the year, as of two weeks ago, my home in Seremban was on water rationing due to low water levels in the empangan. Pipe water supply was switched off from 8am to 10pm almost everyday. Now that's amazing with the amount of rainfall we get. Where did all the water go? Maybe there is an AP for water supply and all the water is channelled to some few industrial areas approved by 'few selected (very rich) individuals'. Some places have much less annual rainfall than ours and such things don't happen, plus we can drink the water straight from the tap.
(PS: some nurses told me this political jest - the haze is actually due to Rafidah burning all her files/evidence on AP)

Where are all the people with insight who can make a change?

On an unrelated merry-er note, Seow Voon and I would like to congratulate Tong Ming and Chee Foo on their weddings.

chiew leng: that is why those with insight should stand up and make a difference. fight for those who can not stand on their own, those who are victims of corruption. speak not only but let the hands act for it does not pay to just let the heart weep.
