is our health ministry tat ____ (fill in the lines with your fav words...)
again, they gav the blanket rules, which just make sense in front of the public to make them look more concern, more effiecient..
n as usual below tat, it was really really really bad idea.
how it wil b implemented, God knows.

housemen got pampered.
n post cal, no one is working.
yeah, let us ask the big shot who make all these rules to cover the housemen when they go day off......

hmmm... they say trainee doctor eligble for day off. do trainee specialist count?

Post call day off for trainee doctors

hmm... so our great Health Minister has announced that trainee doctor get post call days off... and it only applies to House Officers??? So Medical Officers are not trainee??

Well, how much would u bet that these buggers take their post call days and go do locum? kinda defeat the original purpose then wouldnt u think?

As usual, our politician has a way of shooting their mouth off without truly thinking of the consequences. So everyone get post call off, so who's left to do the work? If they are so concerned with our welfare then come out with a plan instead of just stating a blanket rule and ask the individual hospitals to carry out the orders.

Indeed, if the housemen nowadays are so mollycuddled and get all their post call days off (and this is when they are not asked to assume much responsibilities) how can they tahan when they DO NOT have post call off during MOship??

I am not against post call days off, just that I think it should be better thought out before just throwing out a blanket rule like that.
