Hello! been awfully quiet around here recently.
Am sure most of you were on the list for the promotion from UD44 to UD48 recently. Whoever is on that should just apply. The KL side is now rather efficient so any foul up is likely to happen at your own hospital level side. I know in the office in Kota Kinabalu is HOPELESS, but in Keningau it was top notch! Still it is probably worth calling the officer in charge to make sure your forms get there and is in full order.
Not sure how you guys in Masters who are in Cuti Belajar get promoted though? will it be on hold till you graduate?

is our ministry tat _______
the trainees got day off. the trainer (ie mo's etc) work more... hmmmm.... anyone can sense something weird there?
is our health ministry tat ____ (fill in the lines with your fav words...)
again, they gav the blanket rules, which just make sense in front of the public to make them look more concern, more effiecient..
n as usual below tat, it was really really really bad idea.
how it wil b implemented, God knows.
housemen got pampered.
n post cal, no one is working.
yeah, let us ask the big shot who make all these rules to cover the housemen when they go day off......
hmmm... they say trainee doctor eligble for day off. do trainee specialist count?

Post call day off for trainee doctors
hmm... so our great Health Minister has announced that trainee doctor get post call days off... and it only applies to House Officers??? So Medical Officers are not trainee??
Well, how much would u bet that these buggers take their post call days and go do locum? kinda defeat the original purpose then wouldnt u think?
As usual, our politician has a way of shooting their mouth off without truly thinking of the consequences. So everyone get post call off, so who's left to do the work? If they are so concerned with our welfare then come out with a plan instead of just stating a blanket rule and ask the individual hospitals to carry out the orders.
Indeed, if the housemen nowadays are so mollycuddled and get all their post call days off (and this is when they are not asked to assume much responsibilities) how can they tahan when they DO NOT have post call off during MOship??
I am not against post call days off, just that I think it should be better thought out before just throwing out a blanket rule like that.

51 years of garbage takes a lot of time to clear

Sigh... those in government service, have you tried to introduce / change the way something is run in your department and find yourself up a brick wall? Too many procedure, ppl too comfortable with current status quo, and the need for immediate results...
If it's so difficult to bring about a small change, imagine how difficult it is going to be to change a whole country's mentality that have been ingrained by 51 years of misrule. It is not going to happen overnight, it is not going to happen without strife. The question is, will it be allowed to happen, and will we stand by it till the end, knowing that results may not be immediately seen?
51 years of garbage is a big pile. It can not be cleared overnight. And all of us must help in our small way to clear it, no excuses, if you want to live in this country, at least you can do your part to make it livable, however tedious that may be.
Do not underestimate the humble rubbish picker, think WALL-E!!!
Our country's top admin is in total mess right now...with all those clown toying around with our country's and it's citizen future while the world is experiencing economy meltdown...sigh..
our CPI is forever raising, no thanks to the 'brilliant' idea of PM to raise the petrol price. I doubt that any petrol price reducing effort now can lowered the price of good already raised previously...sighhh..
And our dear opposition...dunno what Anwar is thinking and planning right now..but anyway, do hope they..government or opposition, can end all this soap opera ASAP with victory to the PEOPLE...
May GOD help us all....

Sandiwara politika
So will there be a change of government? Does Anwar have the numbers? Man this is the slowest moving soap opera of all time.... and the plot seems to be getting repetitive...
"I have the numbers"
"No, you don't!"
I HAVE the numbers!!!!"
"No you DON'T!!"
"Let's meet and I will show you the numbers!"
"Show me first then we meet."
"Let's meet in parliament"
"Let's not!"
So do you think the numbers are there? I think he probably has it... cos:
1. why bluff? if his bluff is called, he gains nothing, and loses everything
2. Badawi refuses to meet him, why refuse? if so confident no number, just meet and gone la anwar... then he can govern in peace.
and so the soap opera continues, next episode at??
